WE WILL STUDY THEM FIRST, BECAUSE THEY REALLY SEEM TO FIT IN THE EARLY-ASSYRIAN PERIOD OF TIME -- BETWEEN 845 B.C
AND 800 B.C.

OUTLINE OF OBADIAH
- Utter destruction of Edom decreed, vv. 1-16.
- Announcement of the judgment, vv. 1-9.
- The decree, v. 1.
- Condition: deceived by pride, despised and debased by Jehovah, vv.
2-4.
- Completeness of the destruction, vv. 5-6.
- Treachery of his allies, v. 7.
- Failure of his wisdom and might, vv. 8-9.
