Ponder Your Feet??
Prov 4:26 Ponder the path of thy feet, and let all thy ways be established.
God is warning us to take a look at what we are doing and where we are headed.
Eph 5:15-16 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.
It is God’s will that we always consider our spiritual condition and make correction where needed so that we can glorify Him.
If correction is needed…let’s make it and get busy in the Lord. We do not know what tomorrow holds for us!
There is much work to be done in His kingdom and in the local work.
What Work You Say?

Teaching the lost the plan of salvation. We have a wealth of material to help anyone who wants to learn how to teach others God’s word. The elders will work with you in whatever capacity we can to help you.

Preaching – Developing your skills so that you can present God’s word. Take advantage of the many opportunities we have here for presenting a lesson.

Teach a bible class – Training and mentoring are available to anyone who desires to be a teacher.

Leading Songs In Worship – We have many capable men in this congregation who would be happy to help you learn to be a song leader.

Visit the sick – There are many opportunities to assist those who are elderly and/or those who are in need.

Greet visitors who come into our assembly. Some are hearing the word of God and seeing Christians for the first time when they visit our worship services. Let’s make them feel welcome.

Support the work at you local church– We need Christians who will shoulder the load and seek out what needs to be done and do it.
If we are going to be useful to God we are going to have to “Ponder” our paths that our feet are taking us and make corrections if needed.
It is a new year and a great opportunity for us to better serve our Lord.
