Ron Halbrook |
 Ron Halbrook preaches for the Lord's church in Shepherdsville, Kentucky, a Louisville
suburb. After obeying the gospel at an early age, Brother Halbrook began preaching shortly thereafter; he has labored
in the gospel for the past thirty years, working with churches in Alabama, Tennessee, Ohio, Texas, and Kentucky.
Brother Halbrook has written extensively for gospel journals; he serves as staff writer for Truth Magazine; he
also serves on the board of directors of Guardian of TruthFoundation. His book The Doctrine of Christ and Unity of the Saints has enjoyed modest success since its publication in 1974; he is well qualified to discuss matters of particular interest among brethren. Brother Halbrook was educated at Florida College and later received the MA degree in church history from Vanderbilt University. In recent years, Brother Halbrook has made annual preaching trips to the Philippine Islands, and continues to maintain an active interest in that work. Brother Halbrook is married to the former Donna Bell of Baytown, Texas; they have three children, Jonathan, David, and Deborah, all of whom are faithful Christians. |
